Since its creation, The Empress recreated the experience mused by the Grand Hotels of Resorts of North America.  It succeeded in setting a new standard for Tea Time in the Tampa Bay Area.

From its inception in the Fall of 2003, The Empress became an instant hit to converts, novices and experienced members of the Tea Community. Moreover, it offered an ideal ambiance for group events like, Bridal and Baby Showers.

Today, the Empress expanded its Tea Room environment to present its guests with a comprehensive culinary experience of:

• High Tea:  Selection of Sandwiches, Tea Breads, Scones and Pastries served along with a Pot of  Tea. On Saturdays, High Tea only is served to the sounds of a Live Harpist
• Lunch: Selection of fine Entrees, Sandwiches, Soups, Salads and Desserts.
• Private Parties, Club Events, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers and Rehearsal Dinners, Weddings, and Business Meetings can be accomodate 60 guests. 
• Tea and Gift Shop includes a variety of Teas related items, jewelry and novelty gifts
